It is expected that the OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone will debut in the Chinese market in the near future. Globally, the upcoming device will be marketed as the OnePlus 12R 5G. OnePlus recently announced the launch of the OnePlus 12 5G and OnePlus 12R 5G smartphones. In a new post on Weibo, Digital Chat Station has revealed the full specifications of the device.
OnePlus has reportedly ditched the telephoto sensor with the upcoming Ace 3 smartphone, according to a new Weibo post. According to DCS, the device will feature a primary sensor, an ultrawide sensor, and a macro sensor.
There is a possibility that OnePlus will debut the Ace 3 smartphone in China with a macro sensor and a telephoto sensor for international markets. As you may recall, OnePlus rebranded the OnePlus Ace 2V smartphone for global markets under the OnePlus Nord 3 moniker.
OnePlus Ace 3/OnePlus 12R:
The new OnePlus 12R aka Ace 3 will sport a massive 6.78 inches 1.5K(2772×1240p) BOE X1 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a metal mid-frame chassis, according to the tipster.
The device comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the OnePlus 12R will ship with triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro sensor and LED flash. There is the same 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The OnePlus Ace 3 packs a massive 5500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It runs on Android 14 with OxygenOS 14.0 on top. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 6e, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
