OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 12 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip earlier this month. The Ace 3 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC when it launches in the home market later this year. It has been revealed by tipster Digital Chat Station that a mid-range Ace-branded phone will also be released soon.
The leaker claims that OnePlus is developing a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip-equipped Ace-branded phone. He added that the device will have a 1.5K flat display. OnePlus Ace 3V is likely to be marketed as the device’s name even though he didn’t mention it.
OnePlus is expected to replace its Ace 2V with the Ace 3V in March 2023. In February or March 2024, the Ace 3V may debut since most new smartphones are launching a month earlier than their predecessors.
OnePlus Ace 2V was rebranded in the global market as OnePlus Nord 3. Thus, it is likely that the Ace 3V will be released globally as the OnePlus Nord 4 or Nord 5. Other details about the Ace 3V / Nord 4 are unknown.
