As OnePlus prepares to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, it looks like it will be quite a beast.

The latest teaser from Li Jie, the president of OnePlus China, reveals one of the standout features of OnePlus’ upcoming flagship: an ultra-thin under-screen fingerprint scanner. Officially, this cutting-edge technology from OnePlus will make unlocking easier and more intuitive.

As Li Jie humorously referred to the ultra-thin fingerprint beneath the screen as “a bit laughable,” OnePlus was focused on delivering what users truly need. According to reports, this feature aligns with the company’s commitment to “product power first,” emphasizing user experience over cost.

With ultra-thin under-screen fingerprint technology, you’ll be able to unlock your device quickly and reliably. This makes unlocking seamless and quick for users. As a result of this innovation, Li Jie expects the OnePlus 12 to stand out from its competitors.

OnePlus 12 to arrive with 9140mm² vapor chamber cooling:

In a recent Weibo post, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis revealed that the phone features an industry-first 9140mm2 vapor chamber covering 38,547mm2.

This phone also boasts the “world’s first dual-cycle heat dissipation” system, which employs two layers of heat dissipation cavities that work together to keep the phone cool.

To further enhance heat dissipation, the OnePlus 12’s cooling mechanism incorporates advanced materials such as thermal conductive gel and super-conductive graphite.

Rain Water Touch:

During a simulated rain test, the device also performed better than the iPhone 15 Pro without ghost touches or false touches. OnePlus introduced this technology with the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro in August, making the OnePlus 12 the second phone to have it.
