OnePlus, a subsidiary of BBK, has announced the global launch date for its much-anticipated flagship device. OnePlus has announced that the OnePlus 12 series, which includes both the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R, will debut on January 23, 2024. After a series of leaks and rumors, tech enthusiasts speculated about the features and specifications of these upcoming smartphones.
It is expected that a global audience will witness the launch at 9 am EST. Even though the company has not disclosed the exact location of the launch, the poster shows that it will take place simultaneously in North America, Europe, and India, given the three time zones mentioned. In North America, the launch will take place at 9:00 AM EST, while in Europe, it will take place at 3:00 PM CET. In India, the launch will take place at 7:30 p.m. IST.

OnePlus 12 will ship with the same 6.82 inches (3216 x 1440p) 2K LTPO 3.0 OLED Pro-XDR BOE X1 display curved display. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It comes with 4500nits peak brightness, 1600nits peak full-screen brightness, DisplayMate A+ rating, & Dolby vision support. There is also Pixelworks X7 Independent display chip along with Supervooc S chip.
The OnePlus 12 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB/24GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage space. It features triple rear cameras which are been customized by Hasselblad.
It features a 50MP main Sony LYT808 sensor with OIS coupled with a 64MP Omnivision OV64B telephoto lens and 3x optical zoom. There is a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens with LED flash. This time there is a massive 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, and 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support.
