Looks like we have another massive leak coming for the new mid-range smartphone from Nothing with the new Nothing Phone (2a). Previously we saw leaks revealing the model number along with some of the specs. Now we have another major leak that not only reveals the chipset powering the device but also gives us an early glimpse at the new Nothing Phone (2a).
As per the source, the new Nothing Phone (2a) might be the first smartphone from the company to ship with a MediaTek processor. Yes, the source confirmed that Nothing Phone (2a) will be powered by Dimensity 7200 SoC which was launched recently. Further, the source also reveals a schematic video showing the rear design of the new Nothing Phone (2a).
From the leak, we can notice that finally, Nothing has made some design changes for the new Nothing Phone (2a). The new Nothing Phone (2a) will now feature a center-aligned dual-rear camera setup which is aligned horizontally for the first time. Unlike the predecessor, the device just got three Glyphs aka LED lights surrounding the circular camera module.
The source confirms the Nothing Phone (2a) is indeed having model number A142 & is codenamed Pacman. Lastly, the device might be expected to launch at an MWC event later next year.
