Oppo is all set to launch its very first flagship of 2024 with the new Oppo Find X7 series. Previously we saw various leaks revealing the specs along with renders of the device. Now finally Oppo has officially revealed the launch details of the new Oppo Find X7 series.

As expected this time there will be no Pro variant instead it’s replaced by the Ultra. Yes, the Oppo Find X7 series will include the new Oppo Find X7 & Oppo Find X7 Ultra. The new Oppo Find X7 series will be launching in China on Jan 8 at 2:30 PM local time.

Design:

The new Oppo Find X7 series will come with identical designs this time with hardly any noticeable differences. The new Oppo Find X7 & Oppo Find X7 Ultra will feature a huge Oreo-shaped camera module. Yes, the Oppo Find X7 will feature a triple camera whereas the Oppo Find X7 Ultra features a quad-camera setup.

The phone also comes with a unique dual-tone back panel, with a metallic top and leather bottom. Huawei’s recent Mate 60 series has a similar design. Hasselblad’s logo sits near the lenses, indicating the company’s involvement in image processing. Oppo unveiled its next-generation Hasselblad HyperTone camera system earlier in November.

On the front, both devices feature a curved punch-hole display with almost bezel-less sides. The power button along with the volume rockers is on the right whereas there is probably an alert slider on the left. On the bottom of the device, we got the SIM tray along with a USB Type-C port & speaker mesh.

OPPO Find X7:

The new Oppo Find X7 will sport a 6.78-inch BOE 8T OLED curved 1.5K display. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support with HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top. As expected it gets an in-display fingerprint scanner.

 

The Oppo Find X7 is powered by Dimensity 9300 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage space.

The Oppo Find X7 features the new 1-inch 50MP main Sony LYT-808 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, 6P glass lens & OIS. It is coupled with a secondary 50MP ultra-wide Samsung S5KJN1 sensor with f/2.0 aperture with a 3cm macro option. Lastly, 64MP Omnivision OV64B telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture & 3x optical zoom, and OIS support.

The new Oppo Find X7 series will indeed come with Hasselblad cameras. There is a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G (Dual Band support) VoLTE, Wifi-7, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C port. The Oppo Find X7 packs a 5000 mAh battery with 100W fast-wired charging support. It also gets an IP64 rating making the device dust and water-resistant.

It will run on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 out of the box. The Oppo Find X7 also gets a stereo speaker powered by Dolby Atmos.

OPPO Find X7 Ultra:

The new Oppo Find X7 Ultra series will sport a 6.82-inch LTPO BOE 8T OLED curved QHD+ display. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support with HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top. As expected it gets an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Oppo Find X7 Ultra series will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage space.

 

The Oppo Find X7 Ultra series will feature the new 50MP main Sony LYT-900 sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, 8P glass lens & OIS. It is coupled with a secondary 50MP 110-degree ultra-wide  Sony LYT800 sensor with f/2.2 aperture with a 4cm macro option. There is a 50MP Sony IMX890  telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture & 3x optical zoom & 50MP IMX858 telephoto lens with 6x optical zoom, and OIS support. The new Oppo Find X7 series will indeed come with Hasselblad cameras. There is a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display.
