On December 12, the iQOO 12 will make its Indian debut. It has already been introduced to the Chinese market. That’s a nice one, iQOO – 12 on 12.
According to two usually reliable sources, the upcoming device’s price in India has leaked today. Both seem to agree that the iQOO 12 will start around or under INR 55,000.
According to the picture, the label on the box says INR 5x,999, and 55,000 (or a tiny bit less) is definitely within that range. It appears that the MRP will be INR 56,999. In this case, the base variant will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, making it plenty capable.
Additionally, there will be one with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Various bank offers will also be available, further reducing the launch price. Officially, the iQOO 12 will ship with Android 14 out of the box. In addition, the device will receive three major Android updates and four years of security updates.
iQOO 12:
The iQOO 11 arrives with the same 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED BOE display on the front. It does come with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz with HDR10+ support. The display also features a whopping 3000 nits of peak brightness.
As expected the iQOO 12 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB UFS 4.0 storage space. The device will come with a 50MP OmniVision OV50H main sensor coupled with gimble stabilization. There is a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide with f/2.2 & 64MP OV64B telephoto lens (f/2.46) with 3x optical zoom & OIS. It also gets massive 100x digital zoom support.
There is a 16MP selfie shooter on the front. The new iQOO 12 will pack a 5000 mAh battery with a whopping 120W fast wired charging. It runs on Android 14 OS with FunTouch OS 14 on top.
It comes with stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, NFC, IR Blaster, 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C port. It measures 8.4mm thick and weighs 205g. The device also gets an IP64-rated chassis & extra-large X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback.
