There will be a new Infinix Smart series handset being launched in the Indian market soon – the Infinix Smart 8 HD. Infinix Smart 8 HD will debut in the country on December 8. Infinix announced a few days before the launch that its upcoming Smart series smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
Infinix also revealed that the Smart 8 HD will be priced under Rs 6,000 in India. The company had launched its predecessor, the Smart 7 HD, at a price of Rs 5,999. Several key details about the upcoming handset have been revealed on a micro-site on Flipkart. Flipkart will be the exclusive retailer of the Smart 8 HD.
Infinix Smart 8 HD:
There are four colors available for the Infinix Smart 8 HD – Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black, and Galaxy White. According to the company, the smartphone will have a timber texture finish. The upcoming Smart series handset will also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as the power button. There will also be software-based face unlocking on the smartphone.
Infinix Smart 8 HD will feature a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Smart series handsets will feature a 500nit display panel with HD+ resolution. Smart 8 HD features a centered punch hole notch for the selfie camera. With the Smart 8 HD, Infinix claims to offer the first 90Hz punch-hole display in its segment.
Infinix Smart 8 HD will also feature an Interactive Magic Ring, which is similar to Realme’s Mini Capsule. This feature allows the Smart 8 HD to display useful information such as Low Battery Reminder, Face Unlock Amination, Charging Status, and more in a pill-shaped pop-up.
