It might be a good idea to wait a bit longer if you are an iPhone user thinking about getting new AirPods. In the coming months, Apple will unveil the fourth-generation AirPods. It will include features such as active noise cancellation in the next version. The AirPods 4 will, however, also come with an updated case and a new design.
The AirPods 4 will offer two different versions, according to recent reports. There will be an entry-level option that is budget-friendly, and there will be an advanced option that appeals to users looking for more advanced features. As of now, Apple offers both AirPods 3 and AirPods 2 models in both physical and digital stores. It is confusing for users due to the minimal differences between the two headphone versions.
To simplify things for customers, the company may only sell the fourth-generation headphones with the new model. There is not yet a clear indication of how the cheaper AirPods 4 will differ from the more expensive ones. The cheaper version may not have some features found in the higher-end version, however. AirPods 4 will likely feature active noise cancellation, a feature that has so far only been available on AirPods Pro.
It is also likely that there will be some similarities. The design of both models will be refreshed, for example. A combination of the current models and the Pro series will be used in the upcoming headphones, for example. In addition, a new case with a USB-C port will be introduced instead of Lightning. Currently, we only have access to these details. It’s worth noting, however, that the price is likely to rise. You should keep this in mind when thinking about prices.
