The Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablets were launched earlier this year. According to reports, the Pad 7 series is being developed as a successor to the Pad 7. According to GSMChina, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, one of the models in the upcoming series, has been spotted in a Mi Code.
Xiaomi’s Pad 7 Pro is codenamed “sheng,” which means a musical instrument in Chinese. Traditionally, Xiaomi’s Pad series tablets are codenamed after musical instruments.
Featuring a 10-inch Tianma panel, the device has the model number “N81A”. With a resolution of 1480×2367 and a refresh rate of 144Hz, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is expected to feature an LCD panel. The screen size has changed from the previous generation Pad 6 Pro’s 11-inch display.
As reported by Digital Chat Station earlier this year, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
GSMChina also suggests that the tablet will feature a quad-stereo speaker system, as its predecessor did. It is also expected that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will run Android 14-based HyperOS.
Like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, the Pad 7 Pro may be exclusive to the Chinese market. The Xiaomi Pad 7 series has not been officially confirmed, so take this information with a grain of salt. More information about the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be provided as it becomes available.
