The latest version of Vivo’s Android OS-based OriginOS custom skin has been unveiled. The new version is called OriginOS 4, and it was announced at the 2023 Vivo Developer conference.
A new customized font has been added to the Chinese tech giant’s custom Android 14 skin. OriginOS is China’s exclusive custom skin, unlike FunTouchOS’ global platform. With OriginOS, you can customize the lock screen clock style, offering a variety of layouts and font styles.
Vivo Smart Car 4.0 & Parking Assistant:
In addition, Vivo Smart Car 4.0 technology improves car connectivity and offers features like voice-controlled navigation, music, and calling control. This feature also provides users with access to the Parking assistant, which helps them locate nearby parking lots easily. Additionally, it offers instant location recognition and simplifies payments.
Performance & additional features:
With Android 14, you’ll also get access to the latest software upgrades. Moreover, the company is adding new features that will make life easier for both professional and personal users. The package includes Vivo Office, full-link conference assistant, trip planning assistant, and Family Health manager. Among the new features in OriginOS 4 are a virtual graphics card, Unfair Scheduling 2.0 technology, Memory Fission 4.0 technology, and Quick Start.
By lowering persistent processes and improving RAM utilization, Smooth Envision optimizes system performance. In addition, devices with 8GB or more RAM get 600MB more space. Using the App Retainer, users can allowlist certain apps so they can seamlessly return to their crucial apps. Multitasking is improved with a new small window feature, which allows you to run up to 12 windows simultaneously and suspend them using side swipes. Among the other notable features are improved animation smoothness and new functionalities.
