Vivo unveiled its latest-generation flagship X100 series smartphones, along with a new smartwatch, today in China. There are two models in the X100 lineup: the standard and the pro. They followed up on last year’s X90 series with notable improvements. Both X100s follow the same design language. Apart from a few differences, the standard and pro models are quite similar.

Vivo X100:

The Vivo X100 will measure 8.5mm thick and weighs around 206g. The new Vivo X100 will sport a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260p. It comes with a 120Hz refresh and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The device is powered by the latest Dimensity 9300 SoC coupled with 16GB/12GB LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options.

The new Vivo X100 features a new 50MP main 1/ 1.49″  IMX920 VCS bionic with an aperture of f/1.57 coupled with a 64MP telephoto sensor with f/2.57 aperture that gets 3x optical zoom & 100x digital zoom support. Lastly, there is a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture with telephoto macro, Zeiss T* coating, ZEISS optics, and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, NAVIC, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C port.  The Vivo X100 series does feature an in-display fingerprint scanner & IR Blaster.

The Vivo X100 is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS with OriginOS 4 on top.

Vivo X100 Pro:

The Vivo X100 Pro will measure 8.91mm thick and weighs around 229g. The new Vivo X100 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260p. It comes with a 120Hz refresh and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by the latest Dimensity 9300 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 4.0 storage options.

The new Vivo X100 Pro features a new 50MP main 1″  IMX989 VCS bionic sensor with an aperture of f/1.57 coupled with a 50MP APO telephoto sensor with f/2.5 aperture that gets 3x optical zoom & 100x digital zoom support. Lastly, there is a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.0 aperture with telephoto macro, Zeiss T* coating, ZEISS optics, and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter. It will come with a V3 dedicated ISP chip.

Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are available in Star Trail Blue, Sunset Orange, White Moonlight, and Cheyne Black. For the 12GB + 256GB variant, the X100 starts at CNY 3,999 (Rs.45800/-) and for the 16GB + 256GB variant, it’s CNY 4,299 (Rs.49,900/-). It costs CNY 4,699 (Rs.53,500/-) for the 16GB + 512GB option and 16GB+1TB at CNY 4,999 (Rs.57100/-). This 16GB + 1TB system comes with LPDDR5T RAM technology and retails for CNY 5,099 (Rs.59100/-).
