According to Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon, the Galaxy S24 series will feature both Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 chipsets.
During an earnings call, he said Qualcomm will have the majority market share for the Galaxy S24 series. This likely means that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (for Galaxy), independent of the market.
Although he didn’t elaborate further, it’s an official statement. Given that the Galaxy S Ultra is the highest-grossing S series phone, and that reports indicate North American S24 units are also Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered, the majority of the market share makes sense. Only the Korean and European Galaxy S24 and S24+ feature the Exynos 2400, according to the same reports.
Aside from ISOCELL Zoom Anywhere, Samsung teased the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset – a clear nod to the Ultra being Snapdragon-only.
