On Nov. 29, Redmi will hold a major launch event in China. The show will kick off with the Redmi K70 series, which includes the K70, K70 Pro, and K70e. The camera specifications of all three devices have been revealed by a leaker from China.
Redmi K70 will feature an OmniVision OV50e 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, according to the tip. As for the Redmi K70 Pro, it’s expected to come with an OV50e 50-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an OV50d telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom.
The Redmi K70e features a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The Redmi K70s series camera specifications leak should be treated with caution as usual.
Redmi K70E:
The new Redmi K70E comes with a 3D curved frosted glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It measures 8.09 mm thick and weighs 198 grams.
The Redmi K70E 5G sport the new AMOLED 6.67 inches 1.5K (2712 x 1220p) OLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and HDR 10+ support. Redmi K70E 5G is powered by a new Dimensity 8300 SoC. The Redmi K70E 5G comes with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage version.
The new Redmi K70E 5G features triple-rear cameras with a 64MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.89, OIS support, an 8MP 120-degree Ultra-wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, & 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, 1.75μm with LED flash. It comes with 4K video recording at 30fps and 720p at 960fps. The Redmi K70E 5G comes with a single selfie camera with a 16MP sensor.
The new Redmi K70E will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner along with an IR blaster. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, 5G, Wifi 6e, Dual Frequency GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, USB Type-C port, & Bluetooth 5.3 support. The Redmi K70E also features a 1217 Linear Speaker along with Smart PA & Dolby Atmos support.
The Redmi K70E 5G packs a 5500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The new Redmi K70E runs on Android 14 with HyperOS on top.
