The iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro flagship phones were unveiled earlier this month in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets. In China, the brand is reportedly planning to launch the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro sub-flagship phones this month (December). Digital Chat Station has leaked new details about the Neo 9 lineup.

DCS reports that the iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro will have a 1.5K resolution display. The same tipster previously revealed both phones would feature a flat 6.78-inch OLED punch-hole display. This image shows the front and rear designs of the Neo 9 series, which was released by the tipster last week.
iQOO Neo 9 series will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9820 primary camera with OIS, according to the leaker. His comments did not cover the auxiliary cameras on either smartphone. The Neo 9 series is expected to ship with OriginOS 4-based Android 14. It is expected that the Neo 9 series will pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.
The Neo 9 series will replace the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro, which featured the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Dimensity 9200 chipsets. According to the new leaks, the Neo 9 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, while the Neo 9 Pro will use a Dimensity 9300 chip.
iQOO will also launch a new tablet featuring the Dimensity 9300, according to the tipster. A successor to the Dimensity 9000+-powered iQOO Pad announced earlier this year, the iQOO Pad 2 is likely to be called the iQOO Pad 2.
Whether iQOO will announce the iQOO Pad 2 with the Neo 9 series or launch it in the future remains unclear.
