On November 23, Honor announced a launch event without specifying what products it would unveil. Recent updates, however, have confirmed that this year’s event will indeed focus on Honor’s 100 series of smartphones. Honor has also revealed details about the design of the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro, offering a glimpse of their upcoming features.

Design:

Honor Mall, Tmall, and JD now offer reservations for the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro. Both smartphone designs have been revealed in the official images that appear in these listings.

On the front, the Honor 100 and 100 Pro have curved-edge OLED panels. It seems likely that the Pro model will be equipped with dual front-facing cameras, as opposed to the standard model, which has a small cutout for the front camera. For their rear cameras, both phones have different designs. Both smartphones feature 50-megapixel primary cameras with OIS.

Specs:

The Honor 100 will feature an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and high-frequency dimming for eye protection. Besides the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W charging. There will be an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera and a telephoto camera with 2x zoom on the device’s rear camera module.

As for the Honor 100 Pro, it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and support 100W charging. The rest of the phone’s details are still unknown. In the next few days, the rumor mill is likely to spill details about both smartphones.

On his Weibo account (a Chinese microblogging website), Honor executive Yang Yang shared a statement. Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro will be unveiled on 23rd November 2023. It is possible that the Honor X50 GT model will also be announced at the launch event. Honor 100 Pro offers an SLR level of photography, according to a senior official. Honor 100 Pro is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
