After weeks of rumors and leaks, Vivo has finally launched its V29 series of smartphones in India. There are two models in the lineup: the V29 and the V29 Pro. Here are all the details about both devices, which feature a few similar specifications but some distinct differences.

Vivo V29:

The new Vivo V29 will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display (2800×1260p) with 120Hz refresh rates. The Vivo V29 comes with the SD778G SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB storage space. In addition to this, the smartphone is equipped with an ultra-large VC bionic cooling system.

 

The Vivo V29 comes with a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. On the front, the smartphones ship with a massive 50MP selfie shooter with dual-LED flash.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, VoLTE support,  Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

It packs a 4600 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 on top. It measures 7.4mm thick and weighs 182g. The device also gets NFC and in-display fingerprint support. Furthermore, the device supports eSIM and is water and dust-resistant according to IP68.

Vivo V29 Pro:

The new Vivo V29 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display (2400×1080p) with 120Hz refresh rates. The Vivo S17 Pro with Dimensity 8200 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space.

 

Vivo V29 Pro features a 50MP main IMX766V sensor with an OIS coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. There is a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom having an aperture of f/1.98. On the front, it features a massive 50MP selfie shooter.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, and VoLTE support,  Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C port.

Pricing:

In Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black colors, the vivo V29 costs Rs. 32,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 36,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model.

On October 17th, it will go on sale from vivo.com, Flipkart, and offline stores. Pre-orders begin today, October 4th.

The vivo V29 Pro is available in Himalayan Blue and Space Black colors and costs Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model, and Rs. 42,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. From October 10th, it will be available.
