The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s telephoto and periscope zoom cameras were recently leaked by tipster Revegnus. He provided detailed information on the camera setup of the S24 Ultra. Here’s what you can expect from its camera.
According to rumors, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature an impressive camera setup.
The primary camera has 200MP and a sensor size of 1/1.3 inches with a pixel size of 0.6 mm. The 12MP wide-angle camera uses an IMX564 sensor with a 1/2.55-inch sensor size and 1.4 mm pixels. With a 10MP sensor and 3x optical zoom, the IMX754+ sensor has a 1/3.52 inch sensor and 1.12 mm pixels
With a 48MP sensor and a 5x optical zoom, the GMU sensor is equipped with a 1/2.25″ sensor and 0.8″ pixels. Approximately f/3.2 is expected to be the final aperture for the 5x telephoto camera.
Despite its 5x optical zoom, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will deliver an astonishing 100x zoom. These details have not been officially confirmed by Samsung. Therefore, the S24 Ultra camera leak must be viewed with caution.
According to the tipster, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will launch in Q1 2025. A new Vizion sensor would replace laser autofocus on the S25 Ultra, as well as 4x and 6x telephoto lenses.
