Samsung is about to launch its affordable A-series smartphone in India with the new Galaxy A05 & Galaxy A05s. After its global debut earlier this month, the new Galaxy A05 & Galaxy A05s are all making their way to India. Now we have got the launch & pricing details of the upcoming Galaxy A05 & Galaxy A05s leaked.
As per the tipster, the new Galaxy A05 & Galaxy A05s will be launching in India later this week. Sadly, no word about the exact launch date at the moment. Further, the tipster expects the new Galaxy A05 will be priced under Rs.13,000/- whereas the Galaxy A05s are under Rs.15,000/- in India.
Galaxy A05:
The new Galaxy A05 sports a 6.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V PLS LCD display. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The new Galaxy A05 is powered by an Helio G85 SoC 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 6GB/4GB/8GB RAM & 64GB/128GB internal storage.
On the back, the Galaxy A05 features dual rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
All this is packed with a larger 5000 mAh battery and comes with 25W fast charging support. The new Galaxy A05 runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 Core on top. The device also keeps a 3.5 mm jack, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and GLONASS, and also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In Thailand, the Samsung Galaxy A05 is available in Black, Light Green and Silver colours and costs 4,299 Bhat (US$119 / Rs. 9,890 approx.).

The new Galaxy A05s sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-V PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The new Galaxy A05s is powered by an SD680 SoC 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor coupled with 6GB RAM & 128GB internal storage. It is available in Silver, Light Green, and Black colors.
On the back, the Galaxy A05s features triple rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor having an aperture of f/1.8 and a dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and LED flash. There is a 13MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
