Soon, Realme will launch its new Realme 12 series of mid-range smartphones. The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ cameras have been leaked ahead of any official announcement.

According to known tipster Digital Chat Station, the Realme 12 Pro will feature a periscope telephoto camera. The company revealed the optical zoom capabilities of two upcoming devices in a Weibo post (a Chinese microblogging website). A recent leak suggests that the Realme 12 Pro will feature a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto sensor with a 2x optical zoom. Realme 12 Pro+ will offer a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical magnification.

According to the tipster, the mid-range smartphone series will launch for about 273 US dollars (sub-2,000 Yuan). The concept render of the Realme 12 Pro+ has hinted at its design based on what we know so far.

On the back, the smartphone appears to have a large camera island with two cameras and a rectangular cutout for a periscope telephoto lens. Its design is similar to that of the previous generation Realme 11 series. At the moment, we only have this information, so stay tuned for more.
