A popular mid-range smartphone series in the Chinese market is the OnePlus Ace. OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, in particular, is extremely popular in China. In fact, the brand had a hard time keeping the device in stock. Another Ace series smartphone is rumored to be in the works, which could replicate its success.
According to Weibo Tipster DCS, a new smartphone is on its way to the Chinese market. Even though the tipster did not reveal the name of the device, it’s likely that it’s the OnePlus Ace 3V. We can expect a rebranding of the Ace 3V to appear on global markets, likely under the One Nord 4 or Nord 5 name.
OnePlus Ace 3V will have a sharp 1.5K resolution display, according to the tipster. We can assume that this phone will feature an AMOLED screen and an integrated fingerprint scanner.
OnePlus has swapped the MediaTek Dimensity chip of its predecessor, the Ace 2V, for Qualcomm’s expertise on the Ace 3V. The device is expected to be powered by TSMC’s 4nm SM7550 chip. An unreleased chip, is expected to be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.
According to the tipster, the device will debut sometime around March as its predecessor did. OnePlus may, however, launch the device sooner than expected.
