A new budget smartphone has been launched by Lava in India. The Lava O1 is a device with decent specs and an especially affordable price. Earlier this year, the domestic brand launched the Blaze Pro 5G with a 120Hz display. The Lava O1 features a large LCD display, a 5,000mAh battery, Android 13, and more.
Design:
The new Lava O1 will surely remind us of the Realme series for sure. Yes, the back of the new Lava O1 especially the camera module is inspired by the iPhone series. It features a rectangular camera module carrying dual cameras aligned vertically with an LED flash.
The Lava O1 gets a polycarbonate back. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes in three colors Lavender, White and red. The power button with volume rockers is on the right side of the device.
Specs:
The new Lava O1 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Lava Yuva 2 comes with Unisoc T606 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage. It also has an option to expand the storage through a dedicated microSD card slot.
The Lava O1 comes with a 13MP main sensor coupled with a VGA sensor with LED flash. There is a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The new Lava O1 will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charge support. It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
Pricing:
The new Lava O1 will cost Rs.6999/- in India. Due to a 10% price reduction, the handset will be offered at a discounted price of Rs 6,299. During the Amazon Great Indian Festival sale, you can purchase it starting October 7.
