The JioBharat B1 Series is the latest feature phone from India’s leading telecom provider. JioBharat’s latest model joins the K1 Karbonn and V2 JioBharat models. There may be more JioBharat B1 phones in the future, as the telco has listed the device as the JioBharat B1 Series on its official website.
The JioBharat series offers affordable 4G phones for tier 3 users. Featuring a larger display and larger battery, JioBharat B1 allows feature phone users to watch videos and make UPI payments using JioPay.

With a two-tone finish on the back panel, the JioBharat B1 Series feature phone is plastic-clad. There is a matte finish on the back panel, but a glossy finish on the Jio logo in the center, as well as the camera module that resembles a visor. There is a single QVGA camera module and a grille for the loudspeakers on the Pixel series-like visor.
Jio website states that the JioBharat B1 has a larger display and larger battery than other models in the JioBharat lineup. B1 feature phones come with 2.4-inch displays on which users can watch movies and videos using 4G connectivity. Further, the large 2,000mAh battery ensures a longer battery life.
The new JioBharat B1 phone also comes pre-loaded with JioCinema and JioSaavn apps. On JioBharat B1, users can watch sports, videos, and movies in multiple languages. A built-in FM radio is also included in the JioSaavn app, which offers more than 8 crore songs across several languages. For reading, the JioBharat B1 supports 23 native languages. Additionally, JioPay allows UPI payments and QR payments using the camera.
Pricing:
The JioBharat B1 Series feature phone is only available in black in the country. The device is available on Amazon and in official Jio stores. It costs Rs 1,299, which is a competitive price. JioBharat B1 Series works with both new and old Jio SIMs. To access all the features of the JioBharat feature phone, Jio users need to be on a recharge plan of Rs 123 and above.
