Today, Reliance Jio unveiled the JioPhone Prima 4G at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC). Despite its appearance, this feature phone supports many popular apps such as YouTube and WhatsApp.
The JioPhone Prima 4G features 4G connectivity, an 1800mAh battery, and 23 languages. With just 1.55cm thickness and a Jio logo encased in concentric circles on the rear panel, it has a premium, rounded design.
This JioPhone Prima 4G is powered by an ARM Cortex A53 processor with 128GB of expandable storage. The device supports FM radio and has a 3.5mm audio jack. The device runs KaiOS and has a single SIM slot and Bluetooth version 5.0. KaiOS is an operating system designed for smart feature phones. Aside from WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, and Google Maps, it supports over 1200 apps based on the Firefox OS open-source project.
Preloaded apps on the JioPhone Prima 4G include YouTube, JioTV, JioCinema, JioSaavn, JioNews, etc. The JioPhone Prima 4G is powered by a 1,800mAh battery. The front camera is 0.3MP. JioPhone Prima 4G comes with a one-year warranty.
