The iQOO 12 smartphone series will be launched by the end of the year by iQOO, a Vivo subsidiary. The new smartphone series is expected to be a “performance champion,” according to Vivo’s Vice President, Jia Jingdong.
iQOO 12 is rumored to include a periscope-style telephoto camera, which is typically found on higher-end models due to their cost, according to Weibo tipster Lee Ang-aung. As a result, the iQOO 12 will be the first standard edition smartphone to include a camera of this kind. Detailed information about the lens has yet to be revealed.
According to the tipster, iQOO 12 is changing its display strategy from a 2K screen to a 1.5K screen. In order to strike a balance between display clarity and power efficiency, this adjustment has been made. According to recent information, the iQOO 12 may feature a 1.5K resolution display instead of a 2K display, as suggested earlier by tipster Digital Chat Station.
It is rumored that the iQOO 12 will feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 generation 3. TSMC’s N4P process produces this chip with an octa-core configuration centered on the Adreno 750 GPU and Cortex-X4 super core. Performance is expected to increase by 15% with these components.
The device will also have a 50MP primary camera, 16GB of RAM, and storage options ranging from 512GB to 1TB. There may be a flat screen and a distinctive frameless Deco design for its rear lens module.
