A new clamshell foldable phone is on its way from Tecno. Phantom V Flip’s launch date was announced today by the brand. It will compete against the likes of foldable flip phones offered by Samsung, Motorola, OPPO, and more. This year, Tecno launched the Phantom Fold V. Details about the Tecno Phantom V Flip have already leaked and been rumored.
On September 22, Tecno will unveil the Phantom V Flip in Singapore. It will begin at 3 pm local time. According to the company, the clamshell handset reflects its commitment to exploring new forms and redefining the style and functionality of flip phones. We assume that the Phantom V Flip will have a slim profile design based on the launch invite poster.
In addition to the Phantom V Flip, Tecno will launch the MegaBook T1 2023 14-inch laptop.
Based on leaked renders, the Tecno Phantom V Flip has a unique rear panel design that sets it apart from other clamshell foldables. An outer ring houses two camera sensors and an LED flash unit, and the inner ring houses a small 1.39-inch secondary display. Other flip phones separate the display from the cameras.

Numerous certifications have already been awarded to the Tecno Phantom V Flip. Based on the Google Play Console listing, it will feature an FHD+ resolution and a 6.75-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature a Dimensity 1300 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and Android 13 OS.
