As a result of analyzing the APK files, we found strings that indicated the application would connect to the smart ring, with a pop-up message mentioning “connecting to your ring.”.
A Korean forum user noticed a new icon within the application, suggesting its design.
The Galaxy Ring trademark was registered by Samsung in March. Samsung is expected to introduce a dedicated Galaxy Ring app alongside the main Galaxy Wearable application. With this additional software, the device’s features and controls will likely be enhanced, ultimately improving the overall user experience.
Ice Universe previously predicted the Galaxy Ring would be a highlight of the Galaxy S24 event in January. As Samsung’s smart ring launch timeline seems confirmed, tech enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating more details.
ECG and PPG sensors are expected to monitor heart rate and temperature on the Galaxy Ring. Samsung’s smart home products will also be able to be integrated through wireless connectivity. It is expected to cost around $299 (Rs.25,000/-).
