At yesterday’s Microsoft Surface event, the Surface Laptop Go 3 and Surface Go 4 were unveiled. Microsoft has introduced the Surface Laptop Go 3 as the successor to last year’s Surface Laptop Go 2.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3:
The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is powered by Intel’s 12th Gen Core i5-1235U processor along with Intel Iris Xe graphics. There is up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage on this laptop. In addition, it has a 720p HD camera with an aperture of f/2.0. It comes with a 12.4-inch PixelSense display with 1536 x 1024 pixels. With a 3:2 aspect ratio, 148 PPI pixel density, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, the display panel has a 3:2 aspect ratio.
The full-size keyboard and precision touchpad allow you to navigate and scroll with ease. In addition, the laptop has Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and dual far-field studio microphones. In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, one USB 3.2 port, one USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Surface Connect port. It has a 40Wh battery that’s supposed to last 15 hours.
Microsoft Surface Go 4:
The Surface Go 4 has a 10.5-inch PixelSense display. It has a 3:2 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Intel N200 processor and Intel UHD graphics power the Surface Go 4. It comes with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of storage. There’s also an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and a 2W speaker with Dolby Audio. There’s a 1080p Full HD camera on the front and back. Other key features of the Surface Go 4 include one USB-C 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, one Surface Connect port, a Surface Type Cover port, a MicroSDXC card reader, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1.
Pricing:
You can get the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 in Platinum, Sage, Sandstone, and Ice Blue. It starts at $799.99 (roughly Rs 66,400) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It costs $999.99 (roughly Rs 83,000) for the variant with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Starting October 3, it’ll be available in the US. It’s also listed on Microsoft India’s website, which suggests that its launch is coming soon. For the base 64GB storage model, the Surface Go 4 costs $579 (roughly Rs 48,100).
