It has been rumored for a month that Samsung will release the Galaxy A05, and the affordable smartphone appears in its first images today. Brazilian telecommunications agency Anatel certified the device, which was listed with two photos of the front and back.
It features a glossy panel with a stripe design in Black, while the front has an Infinity-U notch. On the back, the device features dual rear cameras with LED flash. The Power button with volume rockers is on the right. The USB Type-C port with 3.5 mm audio jack and speaker mesh on the bottom.
Google Play Console:
The smartphone has now appeared on the Google Play Console ahead of its launch. A few key specifications and the front and rear designs of the handset are revealed in the Google Play Console listing.
The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6769V/WY processor, which is Helio G85. According to the listing, the device will also have 4GB of RAM.
Samsung’s OneUI skin will be applied to Android 13 out of the box on the A05. In addition, the listing confirms that the device will have an HD+ resolution. Samsung has not yet revealed the device’s launch date.
As for the phone’s battery, we expect it to be 5,000mAh, like the Galaxy A04, but with slightly better power management due to the more advanced processor.
Samsung’s Galaxy A05 has appeared in multiple certification databases, which means its market launch is just around the corner. Despite its low price, the phone is likely to be advertised as a basic smartphone for people who want to stay connected with their families.
