iQOO announced the Z7 Pro smartphone for the Indian market. Vivo has now launched the Z8 series in China. It consists of the iQOO Z8 and Z8x. It is the successor to the Z7 and Z7x that were released earlier this year. Although they have an identical design, the newest Z8 duo has different specifications. In terms of price, they fall into the midrange category.
iQOO Z8:
The iQOO Z8 features a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with a water-drop design. There is a 120Hz refresh rate, a Full HD+ resolution, and HDR10 support. There is a 16MP front-facing camera on the device. An OIS-enabled 64MP ISOCELL GW3 main sensor is mounted on the back of the device. In addition to a 2MP depth camera with LED flash.
The device is powered by the Dimesnity 8200 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The battery supports 120W charging and has a capacity of 5000mAh. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and Z-axis linear motor for 4D Game Vibration, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification. It measures 8.8 mm thick and weighs 200g. The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 on top.
iQOO Z8x:
The iQOO Z8x features a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole design. There is a 120Hx refresh rate, a Full HD+ resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera on the device. It features dual-rear cameras with a 50MP main sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensor with LED flash.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The battery supports 44W charging and has a capacity of 6000mAh.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Wi-Fi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port. It measures 9.1 mm thick and weighs 200g.
The device runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 on top.

There are three colors available for the iQOO Z8 and Z8x: Moon Porcelain White, Hoshino Green, and Yaoye Black. The iQOO Z8 costs 1699 Yuan (Rs.19,500/-) for 8GB+256GB, 1799 Yuan (Rs.20,500/-) for 12GB+256GB & 12GB+512GB at 1999 Yuan (Rs.24,000/-).
The iQOO Z8x costs 1299 Yuan (Rs.15,000/-) for 8GB+128GB, 1399 Yuan (Rs.16,200/-) for 8GB+256GB & 12GB+256GB at 1499 Yuan (Rs.17,100/-) in China.
