In his Weibo account, Jia Jingdong, Vivo China’s Vice President and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy, shares some insights about upcoming Vivo and iQOO devices. After the upcoming Asian Games 2023, Vivo will announce its X100 series and iQOO 12 series of smartphones. It is worth noting that the 2023 Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, China, between September 23 and October 8.
Vivo will announce that the X100 series will be unveiled before the end of 2023 at the Vivo 2023 Fan Carnival event in August. Thus, it appears that the X100 and iQOO 12 lineups will be introduced between late October and the end of the year at the latest.
According to recent reports, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro will be announced in November. It is expected that these devices will be equipped with the forthcoming Dimensity 9300 processor. In the first quarter of 2024, the X100 Pro+ is likely to be released in conjunction with the Vivo X Fold 3.
It is expected that the iQOO 12 series will launch in December of this year. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be used in the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro.
