Motorola launched the Edge 40 Neo smartphone in Europe earlier today. It has a Full HD OLED display, a Dimensity 7030 chip, and a high refresh rate. On September 21, it will be launched in India. The smartphone’s price point has been tipped ahead of its launch.
Mukul Sharma revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be priced under Rs 25000 in India. In the EU, the smartphone costs 399 Euros (Rs. 35,530). The rumored Indian price is actually quite attractive in comparison.

The new Motorola Edge 40 Neo will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ 10-bit pOLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The device is powered by the new Dimensity 1050 SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. It measures 7.8mm thick and weighs 170g.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.
The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.
All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support. It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
