GoPro Hero 12:
A breakthrough in performance and usability, the HERO12 Black takes GoPro’s proven, durable design to the next level:
- Two times longer runtimes: With HyperSmooth 6.0 video stabilization on, the HERO12 Black can record for up to 70 minutes at 5.3K60 (its highest performance setting), 95 minutes at 5.3K30, and 155 minutes at 1080p60.
-
High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photo + Video: HDR takes photos and videos at 5.3K+ in 4K.
- 5.3K resolution + 8x Slo-Mo: 5.3K video has 91% more resolution than 4K and 665% more than 1080p. With up to 2.7K resolution, you can slow down 8x slo-mo. Get up to 24.7-megapixel frame grabs and 27-megapixel photos. You can capture 4K video at 120 frames per second for 4x slow motion.
With its Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory, the HERO12 Black offers the widest 177° field of view at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on the market. By utilizing HERO12 Black’s extra-large 8:7 sensor, Max Lens Mod 2.0 can capture video and photos in three fields of view—Max Wide, Max SuperView, and the all-new, hyper-immersive Max HyperView—with perspectives that are 36% wider when capturing widescreen videos, and 48% taller when capturing vertical videos, compared to the standard HER012 Black lens.
You can capture everything from “feels like you’re there” first-person perspectives of your favorite sports and activities to “dream-like immersion” in natural surroundings when traveling or adventuring with friends and family outdoors with these market-leading wide-angle perspectives. The Max Lens Mod 2.0 features a durable hydrophobic lens coating that repels water drops by 2x compared to its predecessor.
Thanks to its intuitive and convenient design, the HERO12 Black offers many new, powerful pro-minded capabilities:
- Support for Apple AirPods and other Bluetooth audio devices—great for vlogging, scene narration, and voice control of the HERO12 Black.
- For color grading and more control, GP-Log has available LUTs.
- With wireless timecode sync, you can edit with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, and other leading editing apps with an unlimited number of HERO12 Black cameras.
- Encoding optimized for smaller file sizes without compromising image quality
More casual users will love HERO12 Black’s updated user interface if they’re looking for convenience and control.
