IMEI data for the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series was spotted last month. The ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has surfaced on GeekBench, which reveals some of its key specifications.
The ROG Phone 8 Ultimate is ASUS’ flagship gaming smartphone. According to the GeekBench listing, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has the ASUS_AI2401_A model number. According to the benchmark, the device features an octa-core processor that has a 1+5+2 CPU architecture, which may be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
It’s not surprising that the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series has a high-end processor. There will be at least one variant of this chipset with 16GB of RAM. According to the listing, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will run Android 14 out of the box. Additionally, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate scored 2,213 points in the single-core test and 7,408 points in the multi-core test.
Currently, ROG Phone 8 is still a while away from launch. Details like their design, specs, and pricing are still unclear. As with the ROG Phone 7 series, ASUS is expected to launch this device in the first half of next year. Stay tuned for more updates on these devices.
