Apple’s iPhone 15 series launch is just around the corner. The global launch is about to begin, and it appears the Indian launch won’t be far behind.
With the iPhone 15 being produced at Foxconn’s Chennai facility in South India, the Cupertino-based giant appears to want to shorten the launch gap between the Indian and global markets. This means that the iPhone 15 lineup will launch in India much faster than previous years. It took a month for the last iPhone series to arrive in the region after it was released globally.
Apple expects massive demand over the upcoming festive season in the country. Thus, the iPhone 15 series will be launched in India shortly after its announcement. India has been a key market for smartphone exports from the Cupertino-based giant’s iPhones. Apple’s four iPhone 15 models have already begun mass production, though rumors suggest a delay of a few days.
In December 2023, Apple plans to export these ‘Made in India’ iPhones to the European and American markets. Next week we will cover the launch event for the Apple iPhone 15 that will be announced later this month on 12th September 2023.
