In India, iQOO will launch the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G on Aug. 31. The brand, however, is preparing for the launch of the iQOO Z8 series in China. According to a report, the brand is expected to unveil the iQOO Z8 and the iQOO Z8x by early September. Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed the iQOO Z8’s key specifications on Weibo.

iQOO Z8 will have a 6.64-inch flat LCD panel with a punch-hole in the center, according to the tipster. It will feature a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels and a high refresh rate. The leak does not mention the screen’s refresh rate, but it may be 120Hz like the iQOO Z7 (China variant).
iQOO Z8 will be powered by Dimensity 8200 chipset. It is reported that the device will have 8GB / 12GB of RAM. According to recent reports, the device could come with 128 GB and 256 GB storage options, as well as 512 GB of storage.
It will run Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 and feature a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. There will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the device and a 64MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 2MP macro camera on the rear.
iQOO Z7 with Snapdragon 728G powered by Qualcomm started at 1,599 Yuan (~$219) in China. As a result, the iQOO Z8 may be priced similarly. Three colors are expected to be available for the Z8: black, blue, and Isle of Man (green).
