Samsung recently unveiled its new Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 foldable smartphones. In spite of this, it appears work has already begun on the successor to the Flip model.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip5 with the same 12MP primary sensor as its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip4. It appears that the next-generation Flip model will offer some notable improvements, especially in the photography department. GalaxyClub reports that the Galaxy Z Flip6 will feature a major camera upgrade.
Samsung is currently testing prototypes of its upcoming Galaxy Z Flip6 with a 50MP primary camera. This news suggests that the company’s next-generation foldable phone will bring notable improvements over the Galaxy Z Flip 5. There are no finer details about this camera sensor or its lenses in the report. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be codenamed B6, while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be codenamed Q6.
We are still a year away from the announcement of the two foldable smartphones in 2024, so it is too early to know for sure. You should take this news with a pinch of salt as it is only an unconfirmed report, so stay tuned for more updates.
