The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is still months away, but rumors regarding the upcoming flagship smartphones have already begun to surface. In addition, a recent leak has revealed some interesting details about the top-end Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Ice Universe shared the leak on X via a known tipster. According to his tweet, the Galaxy S24 Ultra model finally received a noticeable display upgrade. It appears that the tipster did not reveal any finer details regarding these improvements, so we still do not know what upgrades or new features might be included.
Ice Universe’s tweet is in line with our previous report. A new and improved M13 OLED material will be used in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, according to reports from the South Korean tech giant. OLED panels such as this M13 are likely to be more advanced than previous models, such as the M12 and M11. The iPhone 15 is expected to be the former, while on the Galaxy S23 is the latter.
Thus, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be an upgrade over the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is possible that the overall brightness may surpass 2,000 nits at peak. Additionally, the panel could offer better energy efficiency, helping to keep battery drain at a minimum. As of now, this is just speculation, so don’t take it too seriously.
