Samsung’s Galaxy S-series flagship phones typically launch months after the company announces them. Samsung Galaxy S24+ US variant has been spotted online. Its key performance unit details have been revealed on Geekbench, which reveals the middle child in the Galaxy S24 series.
The Dekra certification website confirms the battery capacity of the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, two premium Samsung smartphones.
Galaxy S24+ on Geekbench:
This year’s Galaxy S23+ will be replaced by the Galaxy S24+. The phone’s key specifications have leaked online. Geekbench indicates that the Galaxy S24+ has the model number SM-S926U. Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC codenamed pineapple powers the phone, according to the listing. This SoC will feature an Adreno 750 GPU in place of the current Adreno 740 GPU. There is no doubt that the Galaxy S24+ will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
It is noteworthy that the cluster setup is quite different from that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. For the prime core of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the peak clock speed is 3.30GHz. There are also three cores clocked at 3.15GHz and two more cores clocked at 2.96GHz. Cores with lower clock speeds operate at 2.27GHz.
The listing also includes details about the RAM and software of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24+ in addition to the SoC. On Geekbench, the phone is listed as having 8GB of RAM. Samsung is expected to launch the device with 12GB of RAM and at least 256GB of internal storage.
It was spotted on Geekbench with the latest Android 14 update. Samsung is likely to layer its upcoming One UI 6 on top of Android. The Galaxy S24+ scored 2223 on the single-core test and 6661 on the multi-core test on Geekbench 6.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra may feature larger batteries than their predecessors. This information was revealed via a Dekra certification listing. As indicated on the website, the Galaxy S24+ battery has the model number EB-BS926ABY. The battery is rated at 4755mAh. Galaxy S23+ was equipped with a 4700mAh battery. The Galaxy S24+ is expected to have a slightly larger battery than the model it replaces. There is a possibility that Samsung may market the overall battery capacity as 4900mAh or even 5000mAh.
With a rated battery capacity of 4855mAh, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is likely to have a typical battery rating of 5100mAh. There is a 5000mAh battery in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. As a result, it is possible that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a larger battery than the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
