Realme has finally launched the much-awaited premium flagship for this year with the new Realme GT5. After the success of the Realme GT Neo5 series, we finally have the premium GT5 series launched in China. Sadly, no info about the Indian or global launch of the new Realme GT5 at the moment.
Specs:
The new Realme GT5 will sport a massive 6.74 inches 1.5K(2772×1240p) Pro-XDR display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also gets a Pixel X7 display chip with HDR10+ support. The Realme GT5 will be powered by an overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB/24GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage.
It comes with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. On the back, the Realme GT5 will ship with triple-rear cameras with a 50MP main Sony IMX890 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 8MP 112° ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. It comes with a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
Realme GT5 features an 8-component cooling solution, including a vapor chamber and multiple layers of graphite. A TUV Rheinland certification confirms the safety of Realme’s fast charging.
In Realme Lab tests, the phone heated up no more than 10 degrees C, withstands 1,600 charges from 0 to 100% and retained 80% of its capacity for over four years.
On the back, Realme placed an RGB LED rectangle that can be customized for different apps as a notification light. In addition, the battery indicator will glow red when the battery is below 20%, which can also be programmed through the Settings menu.
All this is backed by a 5240 mAh battery with 150W fast charging. There is another model with a 4600 mAh battery that supports 240W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top. It measures 8.8mm thick and weighs 205g.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, in-display fingerprint scanner, Wifi 7, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C port and 1216 Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.
Pricing:
The Realme GT5 150W variant costs 2999 Yuan (Rs.34,500/-) for 12GB+256GB & 3299 Yuan (Rs.37,400/-) for 16GB+512GB. The Realme GT5 240W will cost 3799 Yuan (Rs.43,700/-) for a 24GB+1TB variant.
