Realme has been preparing to launch its next-generation GT smartphone, as we reported earlier. On August 28th, Realme GT5 will be launched in China. Many teasers have appeared online as the launch date approaches, including the latest, which suggests 240W charging will be supported, capable of quickly charging the battery.
Weibo user chuchu_jessie (Marketing Director of Realme China) posted that Realme’s latest flagship phone would support 240W fast charging. Despite the high cost of 240W charging, the executive stated that users still need this feature in their smartphones.
The post also confirms the device will come with SuperVOOC S charging technology. Users will be able to talk for almost 2 hours on a 30-second charge. With this technology, you will be able to charge your device quickly without affecting the battery’s health too much. As of yet, the GT5’s battery capacity has not been revealed by the company. Our previous report stated that a 4500mAh battery could be charged in 9 minutes using 240W fast charging technology.
