It has been confirmed that Realme will launch the GT5 smartphone in China on August 28. Weibo, a microblogging platform in China, has been used by the brand to tease some of the key specifications and features of its upcoming offering. Realme has now released an official image of the smartphone that clearly reveals its design on the back panel.
As reported earlier today, Realme and BYD Electronics have partnered on the ‘Miracle Glass’ on the GT5. With its curved edges and large hot forging surface area, it is said to have a large surface area for hot forging. By doing so, the company intends to challenge the glass technology of the industry.
The latest Realme official images match a previously leaked render. The GT5 features a dual-toned back panel with a Black color camera module protruding from the top.
In terms of design, it is similar to the recent Google Pixel smartphones, except that it is larger. There are two rings on the left side of the island, the upper housing a single sensor and the lower housing two lenses. We spotted the text confirming PDAF and OIS support. In addition, there is a text that reads f/1.8G 24mm.
On the right side of the camera module, there is a transparent glass window that appears to be larger than on the GT 3. An embedded Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor is confirmed by the Snapdragon logo. The teaser video also showed rectangular-shaped LED light strips that can change colors. The Realme GT5 will arrive in a Flowing Silver Mirror color.
