Motorola released the Motorola Edge 40 in May, and the Motorola Edge 40 Pro in April. The company appears to be preparing to introduce a new Edge 40 series handset after the launch of these two devices. Motorola Edge 40 Neo is said to be the third device in the Edge 40 series, and its specifications and pricing were leaked a couple of days ago.

The smartphone’s launch date has yet to be announced, but MySmartPrice brings you this 360-degree video courtesy of industry sources. As well as revealing the device’s design, the video also reveals the handset’s color options.

Design:

According to the video, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a dual-camera setup and an LED flash. This device will feature a 50MP primary camera, as indicated by the text beside it. There will be a punch-hole cutout in the center of the display for the selfie camera. The power button and volume keys will be located on the right edge of the device. The device will have a speaker grille, microphone, USB Type-C port, and SIM card slot on the bottom. Motorola Edge 40 Neo will be available in Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea colors.

Specs:

The new Motorola Edge 40 will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ 10-bit OLED curved display. It comes with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400p with 10-bit colors & supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The device gets in-display fingerprint scanner support & comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.

The device is powered by the new Dimensity 1050 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage space.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 50MP main 1/1.55″ sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide with 120-degrees FoV. There is a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch.

The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS.  This time the device also gets IP68 certified making it dust and water-resistant.

All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charge support.  It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.
