In December 2022, Oppo announced the Find N2 Flip in China, so it’s been eight months since then. Despite this, we’ve seen a lot of leaks and rumors regarding its successor. A new rumor suggests that the Find N3 Flip will become official in China at the end of the month, which may not be a coincidence.
According to the same source, OnePlus’ first foldable, the Open, will launch globally in late September or early October. It was recently reported that this device was delayed due to a screen swap between manufacturers.
Nevertheless, today’s source claims that while that was part of the alleged delay, it wasn’t the whole story. The Nokia – Oppo royalty case in France and Germany also contributes to the problem.
It’s unclear what this means, but we expect Oppo to be able to offer all of its devices (including from sub-brand OnePlus) in all European countries once again.
We don’t know when the Find N3 Flip will launch outside of China. We might be looking at something similar here as its predecessor waited around two months after the domestic market unveiling to present to global audiences.
Geekbench just spotted the Find N3 Flip earlier today. The Find N3 Flip is expected to add a dedicated telephoto camera to the main and ultrawide cameras, and have a similar design overall, including an identical screen size.
