Two new Nokia feature phones have been announced by HMD Global – the stylish 150 and the music-loving 130.
Nokia 150 (2023)
Nokia 150 (2023) is a phone that balances looks and durability. Due to its polycarbonate body, there is no paint to flake or scratch. Additionally, the phone is dust- and water-resistant (IP52).
Its textured back panel and metallic (but not metal) function keys elevate its appearance. Aside from this, the 150 has all the functionality we’ve come to expect from these phones.
The phone features a 2.4″ display with 240 x 320 pixels and runs Nokia OS S30+. The 0.3MP camera as well as MP3s can be stored on a microSD card (up to 32GB). Additionally, a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio are included.
In the box is a charger for the removable 1,450mAh battery, which charges over microUSB (USB 1.1). This battery can last for 20 hours of talk time or 30 hours of music playback.
The Nokia 150 (2023) is the more expensive of the two at Rs.2700. All three colors are the same price: charcoal, cyan, and red. This is a dual-SIM phone that works on both the 900 and 1800 bands but does not offer 3G.
Nokia 130 Music:
If you look at the back of the Nokia 130 Music, or Nokia 130 (2023), you should be able to tell what it is. Instead of a camera, it has a larger loudspeaker. This one can play MP3s from a microSD card (up to 32GB) or from the FM radio. The retail package includes a headset and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There is the same 2.4″ display, the same feature phone OS, and the same 1,450mAh battery – and yes, even the same microUSB charger. It’s time they switched to USB-C even though these are basic phones.
The two phones will be available in India soon, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores. In addition to Dark Blue and Purple, the Nokia 130 Music is also available in Light Gold for ₹1,950. This is a dual-SIM phone that works on both the 900 and 1800 bands but does not offer 3G.
