Several smartphone brands are expected to introduce their new flagship phones in the fourth quarter of 2023. Redmi and iQOO will reveal their latest smartphones among these. Digital Chat Station recently leaked the display and chipset specs of both the iQOO 12 and Redmi K70 Pro.
iQOO 12 and Redmi K70 Pro are rumored to have flat displays supporting 2K resolution. Both phones are likely to feature AMOLED displays. The iQOO 12’s screen may support a 144Hz refresh rate, whereas the K70 Pro may offer a 120Hz refresh rate, according to other leaks.
iQOO 12 and Redmi K70 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is expected to launch during the 2023 Snapdragon Tech Summit in October. Both phones will have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, as indicated by the inclusion of the new chip.
It has been reported that the iQOO 12 will come in variants that include 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. The primary camera will be 50 megapixels. It is expected that the handset will support 100W charging.
On the other hand, the Redmi K70 Pro boasts a 5,120mAh battery with 120W fast charging. A telephoto camera may be included in its triple rear camera unit. According to other reports, the K70 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. In Q1 2024, the K70 and K70 Pro are likely to be rebranded as the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro in the global market, including India.
