Honor, which parted ways with Huawei in 2021, is making a triumphant return to the Indian market. On its HONORTechIndia Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) pages, HONOR has teased its return.
As part of its new identity for India, the brand will reveal a letter of “HONOR” every day until the brand unveils its new identity as “HONOR Tech.” The move is intended to avoid potential legal conflicts. In addition, the brand announced plans for a contest for its fans on its Telegram channel, “HONOR TECH”.
Madhav Sheth, the former CEO of Realme India, will play a crucial role in HONOR Tech’s expansion in India. HONOR’s trademarks in the country were recently registered under his ownership.
The brand’s commitment to innovation and empowerment for Indians was highlighted by Sheth on X today. CP Khandelwal, CEO of PR innovations at PSAV, is also expected to play a significant role in establishing HONOR Tech in India.
Honor 90:
According to IANS, Honor 90 will be unveiled in the first half of September. It did not specify a specific date but claimed the Honor 90 will cost around Rs 45,000 in India. OnePlus 11R, Oppo Reno 10 Pro, and even the flashy Nothing Phone (2) will all compete against Honor 90 if true.
There is no doubt that the smartphone looks good and could attract the attention of many Indian consumers. In India, smartphones with good camera setups sell well, as evidenced by the popularity of the Oppo Reno and Vivo V series. Aside from extensive ad campaigns and influencer collaborations, there are other factors that drive sales.
