The dates may not be the final ones, given Gurman’s accuracy regarding Apple updates and iPhone launches occurring in September.
It has been reported that Apple may face supply shortages for its new iPhone lineup. There is even speculation that the release date may be moved to October. As a result, Apple may only have a limited number of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max units available in September, even if the launch goes according to plan.
As reported in Apple’s Q2 earnings report (April-June), iPhone sales are also not at their best. There was a decrease in revenue from $83 billion last year to $81.8 billion for the company’s fourth quarter. With over one billion subscriptions, Apple’s services hit an all-time revenue record. According to Red Lotus Technology’s Weibo post, the 15 Pro is expected to start at 256GB and have a top storage tier of 2TB. According to Korean blogger yeux1122, the maximum storage has increased to 2TB, but the base storage has not.
Apple Stores currently sell the 128GB iPhone 14 Pro for $1,000, while the 256GB is $1,100. According to the rumors above, a 256GB 15 Pro will cost the same as a 256GB 14 Pro. You don’t have to spend over $1,000 on a new Pro, which is a good thing unless you had hoped to save money.
