In China, iQOO plans to release two new smartphones this month called the iQOO Z8 and Z8x. Along with the AnTuTu benchmark listing for the Z8, the complete specs sheet for both devices has been leaked. In a new teaser, the brand has officially announced the launch date of these smartphones.
iQOO posted on Weibo that the Z8 and Z8x will launch in China on August 31. As of right now, there is no word on when the global launch will take place. Moreover, the brand has confirmed that the Z8 will feature a Dimensity 8200 SoC.
AnTuTu claims the device has achieved a score of 980,832, which isn’t that far off from the leaked score of 972,222.
iQOO Z8x:
Furthermore, the iQOO Z8x boasts a 6.64-inch LCD panel with 2388 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, it delivers efficient performance. It could have up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The phone is likely to be powered by a large 6,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 44W. For selfies, it could have an 8MP camera on the front. In the rear camera setup, there is a 50MP main camera and a 2MP auxiliary camera. For enhanced security, it includes a side-facing fingerprint scanner and runs OriginOS 3.0-based Android 13.
