Despite not mentioning the name of the device, the tipster said one of the Redmi Note 13 series phones would feature a 200-megapixel Samsung HP3 primary camera, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens from Sony and a 2-megapixel macro/depth camera from OmniVision. According to the tipster, the device will feature an OmniVision OV16A1Q 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The device is powered by a MediaTek chip, he said. According to him, it could even be the same chip as the recently launched Redmi K60 Ultra. For those who don’t know, the K60 Ultra is powered by the Dimensity 9200 Plus, which is as powerful as or even slightly better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The device will be released globally, he said.
With a 200-megapixel camera, it can be considered a successor to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ or Discovery Edition. It is unlikely that Redmi will launch another phone with the same chip after launching the K60 Ultra with D9200+. The Mysterious Note 13 series may therefore have a different MediaTek chip.
